Join us for the 3rd annual Beard & Mustache Competition on Sunday, Dec. 4!
On this Sunday Funday our panel of judges will award prizes to the best beards in friendly competition while raising funds for Open Arms! This is a fun-filled afternoon for a great cause whether you’re participating or watching. This year’s competition will be emceed by Rich Fowler with live music by James Adkins!
How the competition works:
Register to compete in one of the following categories:
- Mustache
- Partial Beard
- Full Beard & Mustache
- Styled Beard & Mustache (this is where you can get crazy and creative!)
- Whiskerina (handcrafted beard competition open anyone 21+!)
Your category will be confirmed when checking in on the day of the event. If you need to change categories, that is ok!
Pre-registration: $25 | Walk-in registration: $30
Your registration includes an official 2022 Beard & Mustache Competition t-shirt, an exclusive trucker hat provided by Shade Headwear and your first pint of FBC beer! Ages 21 and up only! Pre-registration is highly recommended to receive the correct size of t-shirt.

The panel of judges will rate each contestant using a point system. Depending on your category, the judges will score points based on length, personal fit, craftsmanship, creativity, etc. The winner of each category and Grand Campion will receive a trophy handmade by TimberFork Studios, beard products from Mad Cat Beard Care, FBC swag, and all the bragging rights!
All contestants must check-in at the front entrance of our taproom no later than 1:45 p.m. and be ready for judging to begin at 2 p.m. The emcee will provide instruction from there!
This annual event helps raise funds for Open Arms, a local nonprofit dedicated to providing programs and services to Hancock County residents affected by domestic violence and sexual assault.
